New to Tigé and happy to be here!

New to this forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a lifelong boater from the Seattle area and my wife and I (and two daughters) just purchased a 2025 Tigé Z3 from Bjornson Marine in Richland, WA (also in Auburn, WA) and are super excited to have such an awesome boat. We came over from a 2019 Axis A22 that we loved but decided it was time to upgrade from the Axis and Tigé was the best fit for us. We had a 2000 Epic X22 prior to our Axis.

I've spent a lot of time over on the Malibu Crew Forum where it's a very active community that was tremendously helpful during our time with the Axis. Hoping for a similar experience on this forum. Look forward to learning more about Tigé's here and using it as a go-to for questions and tips...and also helping others as I gain more knowledge! One thing is for sure...summer is coming and we are excited about it!!

One of my first questions about the new Tigé Z3 is how the 3750lbs of ballast is allocated in the boat? I have two 155lb bags in the bow under the seats and one gigantic, unmarked PNP bag in each of the the two rear storage compartments but I am not convinced those all total the 3750lbs these boats are marketed to have. Are there hidden tanks underfloor? I haven't asked the dealer about it yet but just curious if anyone knows?

      Congrats on the new boat!

Tige went away from subfloor bags on the z series. Those rear bags in the back plus your bow ballast is the total for everything. Some like to add lead to get more but should be great from stock.
