Might be pulling the trigger on a 24v this weekend. Has the 340hp with 650hours. Good price. Took it out the other day and drove well. Is there anything I should look at specifically on a 24v? I am coming from an inboard/outboard so I don't no anything about a vdrive. Speedo and RPM gauges don't work. I know they can't be repaired. Upholstery is decent for it's age. Was kept at the marine shop with winterization and maintenance done by them. Please let me know what to look out for

Other than the normal things to check mechanically (belts, fluids, etc.), just read, read, read, there's a lot of info on this forum. In addition, check out the Tige Owners and the Tige Owners 22ve and 24ve forums on FB (yes, I know yours is a 24v, but they're pretty similar).
Oh, and check the trailer. Bought a '08 22ve last fall, and the bunks on the trailer were all rotted to a greater or lesser degree. That was my first task. I have a thread here on restoring her.
HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

Great year of boat. We have a 2004 24V. The nice thing is it’s pretty mechanical. Keep up on the maintenance and you should be good to go.
I had a fuel issue last summer in regards to vapor lock. Ended up being a low pressure fuel pump that was a few PSI low and also lots of metal shavings in the high pressure fuel pump. Since the shop that diagnosed and repaired it’s been running perfectly the last few times we had it out on the lake. We have the 6.0L engine & closed loop cooling system.
