    Ultre ZX25 or 23 Question

    Hello Everyone,

I’m new to the board and was hoping someone could answer a few questions I have about the Ultre series. I’ve owned just about every brand on the market and currently have a 2022 G23. I’m in the market for a new boat and while I was initially going to go with the 2025 G23, the Ultre has caught my attention. I’m not going to lie, I have historically avoided Tige because I haven’t hear great things about their quality and resale. However, the Ultre series looks like a beautiful boat. So I’m curious:

    1. How reliable has your boat been for you?
    2. How is the wakeboard wake and surf waves? How adjustable are they?
    3. How has the brand been to deal with for warranty repairs?
    4. How does it compare to my G23 if you have experience behind one?

Thank you to everyone in advance.

Nobody that owns an Ultre lol. I have a 2022 Z3 and from what I can say about my boat and Tige’s in general is your boat is as great as your dealer support. That 5 year warranty for everything, I mean everything is awesome. Only issue I had with my boat was with a fuel harness, but that’s not so much of a Tige issue, more of an Indmar.

I’ve had some blown speakers… warranty took care of it… had a light go out on my boat mate trailer, warranty took care of it. Never had any issues with gel coat or upholstery.

Best bet is to go do a test run on it and see how you feel riding in it. Never rode on a G. Been on mastercrafts and Malibu’s… might be my bias opinion but I prefer my Tige. Hope this helps.. let me know if there’s anything else I can provide an opinion on.

I would go surf them, fit and finish on the 2025 g would be hard to beat.

I put 60 hours on a tige ultre 23 ZX this summer. The boat feels solid in the water steers much nicer than any previous tige, which I previously owned a 22RZX. The ultra chill cooler is a nice feature, but every boat has a cooler so not necessarily a dealbreaker. The flip seat on the passenger seat is very nice.
The surf wave is huge and actually, I have to usually make it smaller as when it’s all the way to the level five it’s actually too big for me. however, I’m a beginner surfer. The flip seat on the passenger seat is very nice.

The surf wave is huge and actually, I have to usually make it smaller as when it’s all the way to the level five it’s actually too big for me however I’m a amateur surfer.

The stereo and sound system is amazing.

I would like it if the boat makers would allow for streaming or mirroring your phones to the screens on the boat as I do like to park the boat and watch football sometimes in the cove .

The power step is really nice as my 70 year-old dad can surf and get in and out of the boat easily

The quality of the interior seems high-end.

The seating in the bow is huge, very spacious and comfortable.

One of my favorite features is there is so much storage for surfboards on top of the tower, as well as in the back locker I would recommend not getting the wakeboard racks. They are just a hassle moving in and out as you pull in and out of your hoist and docking your boat and with all the other storage, you don’t need the wakeboard racks in this boat.

The one thing that is slightly disappointment is the wakeboard wave is not great unless going over 20 mph. I might need to fiddle with the settings a bit.

The 2025 ultre will have a new setting for wake foiling, which will be nice!

To answer your questions the boat seems very reliable. If you have a good dealer than the warranty issues should not be an issue at all.

Surf wave is amazing. Wakeboard wave is OK

I have not been for a test drive in the Natis recently so can’t compare however I was planning on getting a G 25 and ended up with the tige
