2 issues 08c 24ve. Rivets failing in taps tab, lcd display in dash has no display

Looked into lcd replacement, pn 1539-10509-00
16xx dollars. Found another post referencing a pn LEDBL518520-W-1, which can be purchased for 150 but it has a 30 pin ribbon cable. Anybody have any experience with replacing display?
Also, outer two rivets holding tab to hinge have failed, another loose. Whats type of rivet and what tool to compress them?
Actually 3rd issue lol. The drain hose for oil change is leaking. Looks like it would be close to try to remove it without lifting the engine. Anyone done this?

    Thanks!

I would use just a regular rivet gun and put in the shortest rivets that would work and call it a day.
Where is the drain hose leaking, at the end? If so just run the end up to top of the engine so no oil will get to it.

Instead of a rivet, use a stainless bolt, washer, and nyloc nut.

It's leaking at the pan/plug connection. It looks like the seal is pushed out and that at some point there's been a wrench on it. Had the oil changed late last year, and honestly I've become super lax about checking the oil. Had this boat 8 years, never needed a drop of oil. My guess is that it has been leaking ever since the oil change (Very very small leak cold) but over the winter it drained it dry). I tighted it best I could, maybe 8th of a turn and it appears to have stopped or at least become very minimal. Can't understand how an oil change would have caused leaking but previous owner had the boat to same dealer for witherize and magically his steering cable froze up.

I bought 1/4" stainless screws and nuts, anything smaller I'm afraid will just twist off but drilling it out isn't going to leave much meat on the hinge side. I'll look for stainless rivets and give it a shot.

Turns out the pan had a pinhole int, 4800 dollars later all good.

They will rust from too much water being in the bilge constantly.
