    Heelside Off-Axis 360

Ok, so I can't do anything like that, but I'd like to someday...

Wondering what board you guys like for intermediate riders.

Right now I have an Academy special that I learned to get up on. The thing is super stable but weighs a ton.

I'm ready for it to become the boat board and get me something a little more advanced. Ok, anything I get would be more advanced than what I have now.

You guys have a favorite? I don't wanna break the bank if I can help it, but would like to get something I can ride for a few seasons.

I just saw a 2009 LF Watson on sale at sun & ski on Anderson Ln. for $319. Also sail & ski and south austin marine have a rental program where the rental money goes towards the price of the board when you buy. Good way to check out and ride different boards to find which is right for you.

Good advice. I actually have a buddy who demo'd at Sail and Ski before he got his surf board. Pretty cool deal. He ended up getting a Props board from them.

I love the the LF Witness. Very forgiving and very consistent. It can also do OA 3s.

I would try and stick with something that is a continuous rocker that has molded outer fins and a removable center fin.

I have the same board. The great thing about it is that it is also great for a fat newb like me that just learned how to get up last year and is now simply working on switching feet, crossing wakes, and maybe getting a few inches of air. I'm 245lbs and use the witness 144. I got an older year from G*Rides in West Chester, OH/Norris Lake, TN at the winter boat show. I love it.

Talking to Andrew about a CWB Pure, but I also saw a used Ronix Mana at my local shop that I love the looks of...

Anyone have experience with either of these boards? How do Ronix and CWB compare?
