New member here. Looking to sell a 2003 22v Suggestions on price.

I have a 2003 22v just back from service. New impeller lots of other things. Perfect running. Clean, great trailer. Upholstery in fine shape but lightly discolored in spots. General wear on everything for a 20 year boat. More pictures available. I know this is not much to go on but if you can give me a clue on value. You are close. Direct drives are not as desirable for some. 15K would be about what I would expect. From the pics the upholstery does need some work. Looking at onlyinboards there is a mint 2005 22i asking 30 which I think is high. While there is a 2003 22i in worse condition selling for under 11.

Thank you for the correction 22i Got it. Thanks for the price confirmation. I am looking to sell within 60 days and as we are not in California boating season yet will put it up for 14K and see what action I get.

Asking price is subjective. As with anything it’s always about finding the right buyer. Some ignorant person who doesn’t know what he’s looking at will bite the bullet and over pay. Those in the know will not overpay. While Covid prices have cooled off boats are still holding more value than in years past. From inflation to sky high prices for new surf boats used is the only affordable way many can get out on the water.

take lots of good pictures and price it right according to what else you see for sale on onlyinboards.com and you should get it sold at the beginning of the season. Price it too high and you’ll be keeping it. Too low and it will be gone before lunchtime.

You will have better luck on facebook and craigslist. Especially for something in that price range.
