Tige PRE 2200WT motor options

I have a 1998 PRE 2200WT with a 350 MAG MPI engine, and I was wondering if anybody knew of different engine options to replace that engine. I have owned the boat since 2013 and had a lot of issue with this engine.

When it comes to repowering, there is not a lot of options. Mercury now sells a 6.2L inboard engine (same engine block as what you have) or Marine Power still offers a small block chevy engine. Reason I would stay with a small block chevy is to reduce the cost of new hoses and other equipment that would need to change over.

What issues are you having with the engine now that is making you consider a repower?
