I am still lovin my Z1 and would do it the same again. I did some extensive homework on my needs and uses and the Z1 seemed to fit those needs the best.

I bought my 05 AVY C4 with 264 hours in Feb 08 for 1/2 price of its new value because it was a bank repo from Cali.
I absolutely would buy this boat again because I was able to add a Wetsounds system for the tower and in boat, Sky High ballast bags front and rear, Perfect Pass Stargazer, Blue Sea charging system with two new batteries, a Rankin cover and new tires for the tandem trailer for a less than $32,000.
The time to buy and get a smokin deal was during 08-09 whether used or new with all the repo's going on.
I just looked at my local dealer in Stayton Oregon and was floored at their price for a 2011 22Ve at $68,500 and a 2011 RZ2 at $74,500.
I hope the prices on the new boats keep skyrocketting because I can't help but believe they will raise the price of the older boats like mine.

The 2008 Z1 has more than satisfied our family surfing, wakeboarding and tubing desires. At times, I wish I had the RZ2 with the new tower and more room for additional friends.

The 200 is freaking awesome! I had a personal best behind it last year in a tournament.

I would love one for the wake but they are really expensive and just downright FUGLY

Slalom guys don't count. There is no room in the market for another pure slalom boat so I don't see any reason why Tige would ever produce a pure slalom machine. So, I don't feel the slalom guys have much of an argument here. Just sayin'.

Before you flame, me I will say that I love slalom.

I love my boat if $$$ was no issue I would have looked at a RZ4 or MC X45

At the time of this I had a I drive definitely V drive for me.

Still the same but I will add the 2010+ RZ2 on the top of the list.
