a boat has that much power to pull a truck into the water??? Really??? I would think that I would be able to put the truck in drive and pull the boat out of the water no sweat.

Its kinda like a physics problem. I wish I had the patience to draw it up. but basically the angles and stuff took away from the weight of the truck. Its like if you pull a block across a table with the pull force parallel to the table or at an incline to the table, which takes away some of the weight of the block. Combination of force up from the water, low static/kinetic friction from the wet ramp, and angle of the pull, It kinda makes sense! And that truck probably isnt real heavy to begin with. Id hope it wouldnt happen to my superduty, but I dont wanna find out.
