I just recently hooked up Fusion T-Series Combo's to a Soundstream amp. I also have a kicker impluse sub mounted under the dash. I'm having problems with the tower speakers, sometimes they will make a popping noise when I turn the radio on. When They don't they sound unbelievable. Any ideas. Also, I can seem to get my sub running at all. I have two seperate amps for the tower speakers and for the sub. This is all runnning to the stock JVC deck. My battery is also reading a little lower then I think it should. The volt meter says about 10.5 -11 not high at all. Maybe it's time for a new battery? It is 5 yrs old. Please someone help. Thanks, Adam

I agree with you on the battery issue. I am surprised that you only have one battery. Do you have 14 volts +/- going to the battery with the engine running???
I am assuming that you have verified that the sub amp is on. Do you have the amps hooked up to the "turn on" wire from the deck???
Has the entire system ever worked correctly with all the speakers and both amps??

The tower speakers work fine and sound good, but I'm having problems with connecting two amps to the battery and the deck. I was wondering if there is anything that I have to do different when connecting two amps? What should the battery read when the engine is on?"Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory."

That's how I have them both hooked up. I'm wondering if something happened to the amp for the sub? I had it in there last summer then I stored the boat over the winter and now it doesn't want to work? The one for the tower speakers is brand new and it and them work fine. The battery reads between 10-11 volts when the boat is on. Do you think I need a new battery and if so any suggestions? Maybe 2? The amp that doesn't work is a Rockford Fosgate Punch 120. Kinda old so maybe it's shot, it's only powering a Kicker Impulse free-air sub. Thanks so much. Adam"Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory."

Make sure everthing is grounded well. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the ground on the deck had got a little melted because somebody {oops} reversed the wires when they hooked up the battery.
With only one battery better be careful playing music when your anchored, if the one you have in the boat now is more than two years old I would look to replace it.
