Teak Customizations

Has anyone done/seen actual teak wood over the middle locker replacing the cushion in such a high traffic area? Has anyone put teak down in the cabin floor (fuel tank cover area)? Looking for some ideas or downsides to the thought.

No, but no reason you couldn't! Teak takes upkeep. But it's not terrible.

I am going to do corinthian in my middle area. The fake teak looking stuff. The more I see foam flooring failing, the less I want it in my boat. Staining,peeling, tears etc..

My 2003 had Oak slats when i bought it but replaced with HDHP & SeaDeck

Its not my Tige but have teak trim on my Coronado. I have only refinished it the first time 10 years ago. Used Sikkens Cetol teak finish. Also on the swim platform.
