Alpha Z to alpha E swap

Has anyone swapped an alpha Z tower to an alpha E? With all the Z problems I have heard about its crossed my mind. I have a 15 RZ2. I have seen that in 17 the RZ2 came with the alpha E2. So I feel like it would be an easy swap. It looks like the mounting point is in the same spot. Has anyone heard or done this?

On the FB page there's a guy that put and E2 on a wrapped RZ4 which I believe was an insurance thing? I'd wait until you tower broke as I've heard it's around $ 7K or more for the tower.

For that price may want to look at the Roswell tower IMO

I had zero problems with my Alpha Z with nearly 1000 hrs on boat. I think it’s the best looking arch on any wakeboat. My bigger fear is the touch screen failure, not the arch.

I agree its a sweet looking tower. Just sucks there are no parts available besides adding speakers and sampson board racks.
