Here is the stuff I used. I needed 4 sheets. It takes a lot of planning to get all the patterns to line up between parts. Total cost this route was about $550.

So far I'm happy. Definitely more work adding the contact cement, but I didn't want to gamble with their adhesive.

I have a 2012 RZ4 and am on RD4 of gator step sizing doing the whole boat with a couple of custom pieces. I’d wait for a sale and you could likely get 1-200$ off that price. Just my thoughts.

Did you leave a way to lift up the floor for access?

I have one seam that runs along the starboard side of the floor access hatch. I figure if I need to lift the floor I can easily cut a slit around the rest of the hatch.

Thanks, I couldn’t see the seam so I was wondering. I’d love to do this to mine as well, but working around that floor hatch makes me a little nervous. I pull my floor up pretty often, i usually clean under there at the beginning or end of the season.

The floor in this boat is a pain to work with, but the eva is so much better than carpet. If you haven't seen it I have the writeup at wake garage. The hatch could easily still be removable with the seam cut along it.

I have a 2009 22ve. How do I remove the old platform decal/layer which is very uncomfortable to prep and put down ultradeck or gator step, etc?

I believe I just ripped it up with a pliers. I may have used a heat gun to soften the adhesive.

Looks great kdammen! I just bought two sheets of Hydro Turf for my 2004 22V. The HydroTurf looks to be a good middle ground for EVA foam with a better adhesive and a lot of YouTube success stories. I'm going to be removing the carpet this weekend hopefully.

Hydroturf is great. I've had it on my jet skis for 17 years and it's still holding up. Not as decorative as some of the boat option, buy a good quality product.
