    Gel Coat Question (Not Blisters)

I have this no water cleaner I use for my car that some of you westerners might be familiar with. The product claims it is safe to use on any hard, non-porous surface. I'm new to gel coat. Is gel coat harn and non-porous? or porous? Can I use this stuff on the boat? I works miracles on cars, and I would think ease the pain of getting rid of the nasty water spots and funk that is left when leaving the water if applied ahead of time.

    Any experience with this?

    Thanks.

I have been around and used this product for a very long time. Its one main attribute is being able to use the product without first washing/drying the vehicle (as long as its not filthy dirty)
It will only make a nicely polished boat look pretty, but any good boat polish will provide the same result. I havent experienced any amazing results if the gelcoat is in need of a good compound wax. Like I said, if the gel coat is in good condition its a easy way to spit shine it and I have not run into any problems with using it on gel coat.
