Have recently been restoring a 2001 tige 22i I picked up on trade. After all new injectors, fuel pump, coil, cap and rotor, plugs, wires and more the most I can get out of the boat is 3800rpms and 36mph. Is that normal? Feel like it should have a better whole shot and better top end. Any input especially from owners familiar with this boat would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Gumby's right, either set the base timing to 8* BTDC with the diagnostics computer connected and set to base timing mode OR unplug the connector and raise the rpm to 1100. We just had a similar issue with a customer's boat, 97' Tige, with a hard start or no start condition because the timing was off and had been set without correct procedure.
Also, has the ignition sensor been replaced inside the distributor under the rotor? If it does not have the black ground wire coming off it then replace it as well.Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...
