I was out wakeboarding today and decided to take her for a ride after we were done. We don't go for long rides very often if at all. So after cruising the big lake next to ours I notice a slight rubber burning smell. First, I thought it might be someone just burning some shrubs on shore and I slowed down lifted up the motor door and did not smell anything. So I went on my merry way and then smelt it again as did my daughter. So we slowed down, but all the temps were fine. I only have about 150 hrs on her and just did all the maintenance about 50 hours ago. Did not smell it while we where boarding. Once I slowed down to 20-25 if never came back. It is about 95 degrees today on Florida. Any thoughts or things I should check? I just replaced the belt about 15 hours ago. That was probably the longest ride I ever did at a nice 30 plus cruising speed. It was probably a 20-30 minute ride. Happy Labor Day to all.
