That's strange....I'm wondering if it was the calibration on the ECM and not the ECM itself.

jmoore15. Any update on what your fuel consumption is after the replacement of your ECM?

I’d be curious to know once you have a chance to use it.

Interesting, never heard of ECM causing issues. Now you have me wondering on my boat. 2020 22RZX with the 400(2:1) and I cannot get on plane full ballast. I need to be about 30% in the rear to plane with 100% up front. It's really weird because I have been in a 2017 RZX2 without the 2:1 and it could do 80% in the rears. I've got the acme 2693 prop and at about 800 elevation.

I'm with you Mike... in 6 years at the boat game I've only swapped 2 ECMs. One old triple nickel MerCruiser and an Ilmor that looked like it either sank or spent a lot of time in the salt...either way that one wasn't putting out 5v reference for the sensors.

ECM should have been able to be flashed with a .cal file. Curious how thehtechs condemned this one. Pulled an ECM off a known good SC boat(hard to believe with current inventory levels)??? Indmar sent them one??

Either way....1 and 1 aren't making 2 in my head on this one

Got the boat out this evening after replacing the ecm. Boat is light years better. I am able to get the boat on plane even with full ballast. Running about 400 rpms lower and much quieter at surf speed. Not sure about gph yet since I didn’t haven’t out that long.

That is great. Hopefully you are saving at the pump as well.

Also… the 20gph was confirmed by Indmar. Can’t tell you how appreciative I am to have a great dealer. Props to West Texas Watersports. Tony and Hayden are awesome!!

I had never checked until yesterday but I got on plane pretty easily with mostly full ballast and three people. Acme 2249 and about 3500’.
