    575 Raptor Fuel Consumption

Wanted to compare notes on Fuel Consumption on the 575. We have the 80 Gallon tank and I feel like I am watching the fuel gauge as much as I did on our old 24ve. Haha

seems like I’m averaging 8GPH- 10 GPH as a general rule. We mostly surf.

what are you all seeing on your 575s?

I have not formally tracked mine but I feel like I’m getting 8-10 hours out of a 65 gal(250 litre)tank. Mostly surfing at 3200 rpm. Stock ballast plus 800lbs pnp.

I hear you 25 loud and clear. I need a tanker barge to follow me in my 25 with the 440!!!! I easily burn 10gph and only surf. Fri-Sun of this week I put in 140 gallons of fuel. Am also surfing at 4,200 rpms.

Thought the 80 gallon tank would allow for me to get through an entire day.

My dealer was awesome enough to come out and spend the day with us on our boat. Totally agreed that I definitely have something wrong with my power and fuel consumption. With full ballast I’m at 12mph maxed out in the throttle. Dropped it off for them to go through it.

Yaba daba doooo! Lol. We 50/50 wakeboard and surf. I’ve kept a good log the past 2 summers and we’ve averaged 4.7gal/hr over last 90hours. Surf at 3200rom and wakeboard is in the same region of rpm depending who is boarding. I’m only pushing ~9000lbs when surfing though….R23 Raptor 400.

Would love to know if they found something. I can’t get above 13.1 when fully sacked out. I would love to get better fuel consumption.

With the supercharged motor? That can’t be right?

25cents I’ll let you know what I find out. When my dealer saw that I couldn’t get above 12mph full throttle with the ballast full he said he needed to get one of the engineers from Tige on it. At $6.20/gallon for fuel at my marina my wallet is hurting!!!

575 is a joy to drive… as long as you don’t look at the fuel gauge. It gives Malibu’s a run for the money in fuel burn… can’t believe the tank is so small on the 23zx, it makes Powell logistics challenging…
