Hello everyone. Looking to purchase a 2000 Tige 23V Limited. Boat looks real clean, has the 350 MPI motor with 700 hrs. Only issue I can see is some gel coat cracking in the transom. Is that something to be concerned about? Pics attached.

It looks to me as if they tried to tow something with the handle on the transom and put undue stress on it. I would check on the inside of the hull and make sure there is no structural damage. If all checks out then you can wet sand the transom and make it look nice again. You will need new decals for the transom when you are done of course.
If you plan to surf it (great wave on that boat!!) I would suggest a baffle at the engine vent on the transom as the wave will wash in and coat the components there causing premature failure. Long live the 2300v
