1999 Tige Pre 2002 Wake Question

I am looking at a 1999 Tige, never owned or been in a Tige so can anyone tell me how is the slalom wake at say 30 mph, looking fora boat that can slalom and surf pretty good, I have been in a Malibu Sunsetter that does a petty good job but i found the 1999 Tige for 19000.00, any thoughts

Anything pre 2000 that is a direct drive will slalom very well as wakeboarding was still very much in it's early stages so boat builders weren't building to make wakes or waves like they do today. So, what you got was a SKI boat. What it won't do very well is surf given the low free board and flat hull.

Oh sorry just looked at the title. A 2002 is going to have tournament quality wakes slalom wise. My 22i, not so much. They’re good but not great. Surfing a 2002 is going to be the hard part. It can certainly be done but, you’ll need to put in some work on ballast, a fast board, and some skill.
