When I get water in the bow compartments, under the forward seat cushions and in the walkway, there is no drain. Sponging the water out or evaporation are my only options. Are there drains which aren't working? If I drill drains, does the bilge run the full length of the boat, or will I be draining into an inaccessible compartment under the floor? Thanks for any help!

Same issue on my '06 22Ve. I remember searching and finding several posts on it here and I do think some folks drilled drains, but there were also warnings depending on where. I generally just go the air dry route or shop-vac if it's bad. I'm also better at not submarining the bow. The rider can wait a few extra seconds. -
The water sneaks in when the boat is covered, or just splashes in or rains in. My cousin buried the bow in one wake and it was epic. So, can I drill drains into the bilge from there?Comment

On my 2006 24ve I installed a through drain into the observer compartment and then t’d it into the bilge. I would be cautious just drilling straight into the bottom of those bow compartments. I wasn’t clear what was below them and didn’t want to chance it.Comment
