super long story short- after my 20 hour service I got in the water and had oil spewing all over the engine bc the service team didn’t properly seat the oil filter. Almost cost me an engine. I was towed in and they worked to make it right. But since that time there have been a ton of little issues and so I was seeking advice from the TO community to help reset my own expectations.

Wow!! Just wow!! Im not about to claim that I've never double gasketed a filter or had other mistakes BUT the issue was caught when you run the boat in the shop after the service as part of the process to verify the work that performed is correct.

Im Sorry you had this happen. It not only ruined a scheduled day of fun for you and the family but has obviously shaken your faith in the support you may need in the future.
