    2008 Tige RZ2 and 1235 14.5 x 14.25 prop

I was looking for a new prop and prop retailer said this prop would suit my needs. Original prop was a 13.5 diameter so I asked if the 14.5” diameter would be too big and they said no it would be fine. Wanted to get some thoughts from the group before I drive 4 hrs and find out the prop diameter is too big and won’t clear the hull or prop guard on trailer. Thoughts?

It will absolutely clear the hull. As to the trailer, there are a number of different trailer manufactures, so there can always be that variable. With that said, Ive never run across a 1235 interfering with a prop guard on a Ve/Rz.

I also learned about the recommended 3/4” min spacing between prop and hull to prevent gel coat burn lol definitely a learning process!

Well the prop guard is the issue. The 537 current prop is only 1/8th of an inch clear. Think I will have the prop guard cut and reworked to give at least 1” clearance so it is not a limiting factor.
