Seadek for a 2008 RZ2

I was about to order a template kit from seadek for my 2008 RZ2, but I'm not sure I can make it work in my boat. It appears under the carpet is an aluminum plate covering (I assume) the fuel tank. Has anyone installed flooring in a 2008? I don't want to rip up all my glued carpet to find it's not possible.

Definitely possible, you'll probably have a seam around the plate and may have to paint it and/or fill some gaps.
