    Battery charger help.

    2013 Z3

I purchased a pro sport 20 dual bank battery charger. There is no place to mount it in the battery compartment. It was recommended to mount it behind the back seat and run the wires around the engine to the batteries. The wires will reach, but there is not a solid panel which means I would have to mount the battery charger into the back of the seat. I am worried that screws would eventually shake out and the charger would fall off. There is also not the eight minimum inches of clearance. I looked on the opposite side of the batteries and the only thing over there is the taps pump/reservoir...Whatever. But I do not see any place to mount the charger. I started looking underneath the side seat. I think I could mount it there. But then I would have wires running underneath my ballads sacs back to the battery compartment. Thought about just getting extensions and mounting it way up underneath my amps by the observer seat. But I am worried about drilling and screwing into the side of the boat as I do not want to harm the hull.

this is my only day off during the week and I’m trying to get new batteries in and this charger set up before memorial day weekend and once again things are not going my way and the thought process department.!!

any all help, recommendations, at this point even insults may be beneficial!!!!

Charger is mounted on engine panel in rear left storage (ballast compartment). Panel mount is reinforced with heavier screws. Hope I never need to remove it.

I like it there...plus it looks easy. I did order the 15' wire extensions and was gonna put it by the amps under the observer seat.
Does your placement interfere with the full ballast bag? and I assume it is ok if these chargers get wet?

Bag forms around it. Make sure there are no sharp edges on charger. I would try not to get it wet. I haven’t had any problems.
