2013 R20 Swim platform bracket replacement

    Hi guys,

One of my swim platform brackets broke yesterday and I am trying to figure out how to replace with new ones. I need to gain access to the inside part to remove bolts and plate on the rear but I don’t see how this can be done ? There is no room to fit my arm back there even If I remove the battery. What am I missing ?

Take out the batteries, the shelf the batteries sit on and all the black walls and you’ll have a ton of room. I did this yesterday on my R23 and there was easy access.....

How to you gain access under the floor ? It goes right up to the backwall

Not sure for your boat, but mine has what looked like a removable shelf the batteries sit on.

This is going to be fun ! Only way is to jam my arm under and hope I don’t drop anything

I think I was posting on your Facebook thread about this too? Ya, that's a heck of a lot tighter than what I had to deal with on my VE.

Think I will try and drill new holes on the bracket and swim plate mounts. The current bracket broke at the top where the hole is.
