Mesh shelves for rear lockers

I seen someone had the mesh shelves in the rear lockers over the ballast bags. Anyone know where to purchase these and what size?

Saw some on Amazon for like $17 I have measured my locker yet to know if those would work. I’m interested to see what others have used. Seems like a good idea.

$199 for the Hyperyd seems a little excessive. I am going the amazon route to make my own.

I made my own shelf on the starboard size with wood. I then carpeted the wood so it’s looks finished. Used a router to bevel the corners on the bottom so they don’t cut into the carpet wall. 2x4 carpeted and screwed into the engine panel to give it a shelf to sit on. Outside wall slopes so holds it where you want it if you cut the length and shape right.

This is the finished product. The metal L brackets keep the ice chest from falling back. I bought the ice chest that fit the spot the best.

If you have room in your locker for a shelf when the bag is full, you are wasting potential ballast capacity. Lol.

Doesn't matter what your shelf is made out of. If you have room to store stuff on any shelf when the bags are full, you are wasting potential ballast capacity. Lol. If you're not storing items in the locker when the ballast is full, what's the point of the shelf in the first place?

Not everyone needs or wants a rear locker packed full of ballast. Put in the ballast you need and then make good use of any space left over. Looks to me like he did.
