    I've only put iy on once so I'm not quite sure. What you see in the pic is how it lined up by itself. I was concerned as I've seen other boats at the marina on a bit tilted. I would assume it has to do with how level the boat is setting as it is lifted up.

      We us a very similar lift it just floats up under the boat and starts a gradual lift so the boat settles in perfect. Super easy setup.

      I don't have the rubber grip on my boards are they just silicone glued to the boards?

        They are coming off this week. It's a used lift and the lift guy was supposed to have the bunks recarpeted before I brought the boat down...he didn't get around to it. They will be off this week. Theses are simply screwed down (recessed heads). I think the idea is that they don't hold water against your boat while in the lift thus reducing the chance of blistering...
