    2014 Tige Z1 Steering Concern

I recently purchased a 2014 Tige Z1 and had some questions for the Tige community and with any advice for Engine care besides the usual service. Also I tested the boat on the water, power levels are good, my only concern was when the boat is turning it felt as if the throttle was idling, I was told that is normal on the Z1 but I'm not sure how true that is. For clarification this didn't feel like it was lacking power, only that it felt like the boat was automatically throttling into the turn.

First owner had a dealer replace the transmission and prop shaft along with the prop, I have the service records and they replaced it with new parts as that's what the service tech told me over the phone.

Perfect Pass is the cruise control on the boat. as you turn and the boat slows, the engine will throttle up to maintain your speed. Not sure on your boat but there are some that go off of the paddlewheel speedo and some that use GPS.

I believe that's what the owner was describing to me when we had the ballast full and were going into the turn. But I shouldn't be experiencing that when the cruise control is off? Also when the boat was idling the engine was working great and then after some time this noise like flicking a can with your finger started to make noise and it lasted for about a minute and died away, also when we started moving the sound went away and as we were finishing the sea trail the boat was idling and the sound came back and faded away, any idea what it could be?
