I have an '01 23V and I believe that my TAPS switch wires are shorted, but before screwing around with the re-wiring, I would like to verify that this is in fact the problem.
I have read through page after page of TAPS info, but can't find the answer to this one:
Under the dash, I see the tiny TAPS wires going from the throttle handle to the relay, and in that routing, the wires are spliced with blade-type connectors. I'm assuming that if I pull those apart, I should be able to "jump" wires to verify the system function, right? There is a red, a black, and a white.......my question is which wires to jump together??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
