Transporting RZX3 - Best cover?

Hey,
Just bought a 2017 RZR3 and will need to transport it long distances, it has the Tige factory cover that does not cover the tower. I am thinking of getting the full cover that also covers the tower. Is it worth it? Is it better for transport?

Looking for any advice,

Either one is fine. The coverall cover just helps keep bugs off the tower. Either way, for long trips I would recommend wrapping the rub rail area in pallet wrap to protect scuffing.

Thanks bsreid . You don't think the cover will stretch or rip during the drive? The boat is going from Georgia to Maine and then into Canada for another 500 miles. I will also be driving it to Florida in winters.

I just towed our 25ZX from Kansas City to Phoenix and back with the cover that does not go over the tower with no issues.

I have the OEM Outer Armor cover that goes over the entire boat with the tower down and went 2500 miles each way from TN to AZ last year and had no issues with my cover. Abundance of Boatmate trailer issues however....

akdoc david.osborne24 Thanks for your help. Does the cover scratch the guard rail? I was thinking the friction would potentially do a lot of surface scracthes where the cover is tight all around the boat. Also, the trailer did not stretch or any rips?

My cover did not scratch the gel, just tighten it up really good! I have a triple axle boatmate trailer and luckily had no issues at all with the trailer.

Same. Tighten the straps till you can’t anymore (that’s what outer armor told me) no problems with scuffs
