New cover for 2007 RZ2 with original aluminum tower

My 2007 RZ2 has the original large aluminum tower and is need of a new boat cover. The original has ratchets on straps that tighten it when placed. Anyone know where to get the right cover made and not goof up with the wrong design for a different tower? Any after market sales? photos attached
    Thanks you your help

Contact great lakes boat tops, commercial sewing, or evolution covers for a custom made one. I see so many people go to their local canvas guy and they end up turning out awful.

Just went through this with my 07 22ve. I had to order direct from a tige dealer. Commercial Sewing is the company that made the cover for my 07 and commercial sewing does not deal with customer direct. I just put it on for the first time yesterday and it fit perfect.

adsprog03 how much did you pay for your 07 cover. I just ripped my this morning and am scrambling for a replacement.

The Tige dealer told me last Friday that they aren't taking any new orders on covers until June, starting in June they will open it up to queue and it could be another month until I got my cover. He also said it'd be around $1500 for my R20.

Hey for the 2007 I called a couple Tige dealers to order it. They all gave different prices. The cheapest I found was 1300 with taxes and shipping. But I do have an issue with the cover, where the cover goes around the tower it creates a large gap which lets rain in, I have a current solution using pieces of a pool noodle to fill the gap. But I reached out to the manufacturer and they are making me a new cover that I hope will solve the issue. They have been really awesome to deal with to try to fix the issue.

I used coveranything for my 2005 22i. It's obviously not "tige" original, but it works for me and was half the cost. BTW, mine goes over the swim platform as well.

Hey skinman, I just recently got a 2007 Tige RZ2 as well. And the cover that came with mine has logo from Rankin Covers. Some googling led me here: https://craftcovers.com/ . I am located in Vancouver Canada so it kind of makes sense it was sourced from Everett Washington.

I have a similar tower to you with the wider back base, not exactly the same but close.

Here is best photo I had of cover. Hope that might help?

Your tower is a "Z" style, the other one in that year was the "E". I would recommend Corey at Evolution Covers or the Rankin Cover, they are basically the same design ie: no poles required. You will get it quicker and pay less money than the Factory ones.

I replaced my cover on my 08 RZ4 with one from commercial sewing so I could keep the design of the original cover. Regardless of where you go, get a light colored cover to help minimize heat buildup under the cover and reapply waterproofing solution once a year.

I’m wondering what cover the OP ended up going with?

The cover on my 07 RZ2 tore in about 5 places tonight so it’s past the point of fixing and I need to find a replacement ASAP. There are a few local places that seem to do quality work, but I do like the look of the evolution towers. And the factory one did last 15 years so that might be a good option.
