Need to replace a ballast bag....

I have 2013 Z3 with Surf + Wake XL Ballast. My front port (passenger side) sack is leaking and I need to replace it. Does anyone know that brand/size bag I need to get?

The sacs was made in-house as was specific to Tige, so outside of the factory, your options are limited to doing a custom design in obtaining the same size and shape. Its rated at 400 (each) if its the Pro level with two individual sacs. If its the Surf level option with a single sacs, its rated at 400. For this sac, you can use Fly High W711. Note though, with both ballast options, the screen shows 2 individual sacs, even though the base and Surf level actually only had a single sacs.

I will dig into it this weekend. I am pretty sure it is two sacks. Only thinking that because I have 2 pumps, and one side will go to overflow before the other, and one one storage compartment gets wet...

Tige used 2 fill pumps and 2 drain pumps with both bow sac options, so its hard to be sure unless you know the option listed on the build sheet or pull the bow seat panels to see the sac(s).

If you haven't already, you may want to make sure its a hole in the bag or a bad seam or fitting. Wouldn't be any fun to do all that and then figure out a loose hose clamp was causing all the problems.

They do make repair kits too.

I’ve tried a couple repair kits with no luck. Any suggestions?

If its a hole in the bag material somewhere, they can be repaired. Sadly, most of the bow sac failures are at the welded-in sac port. These are terminal. Root cause is usually hose length and/or routing.

I have a hole in the bag material. It rubbed against a fiberglass corner and wore through. Do you know of a good patch?

Any patch kit for a raft towable tube should work. If its on a seam, it can be tougher because the surface is irregular.
