    Cold Temps in the South

I hope temperatures warm up in the south and your electricity and water problems get resolved soon. Do you guys typically drain/winterize your boats down there? Hopefully you are not at risk of your engine blocks cracking with the freezing temps. Stay safe!

I do here in NC. We do get below freezing for long enough periods to crack a block.

IMO everyone should winterize their boat unless you live where it's literally never cold.
      It's easy enough.

I bet TX boat insurance goes up next year

I drained mine when I saw this was coming. Plus a boat heater and it’s sitting in the lake water which is 58 degrees.

fully winterized usually from Dec through March. can be freezing temps on edges of that range but pulling the blue plugs is easy with the raptor.
