    22 i slalom wake??

I'm considering buying a 2007 tige 22 i, how are the slalom wakes behind this boat? I ski the course maybe 4-5 times a season. Ski a lot and don't want a huge wake. Like the seating arrangement of this boat though I sold my direct drive and it seems as though the 22 i has decent slalom wakes? The 21 i tige no longer makes? Any help would be great!

The 20i would be a better bet. Jamie Beauchesne trains on a 20i.

What boat are you coming from? I think I still have picutres of my 21i.

The 22i produces a decent ski wake at 29-34mph. It is small in size, but it is fairly hard.

Any less speed and the wake will be rather large and still as hard. So I guess it depends on whether you are comfortable at ~32 mph. I exclusively ski and it works for me and for my family.

The 22i is also very capable for wakeboarding and awesome for tubing, but I do not know about the potential for surfing.

As you mentioned, the seating arrangement and space cannot be beat for a DD.

If you can get a pull behind one, that of course is recommended.

            If you can, test it.

At that speed, there will be little to no wake. What will be there will give you a good bump (not all soft and fizzy) but if you are on edge across the wake and through the table, it should be a good boat for you through the course.

I agree with Zad though - get a pull behind one if you can. I dont know where you live, but if you are anywhere near Southeastern PA or would be coming to the area, you are welcome behind our boat.

I have a 21i and the ski wake looks sweet. Have yet to ride it as I don't have a driver !!
It appears to throw a surfable wake too, have not tried that either!!!!
Dang, bought a boat and all I do is drive!!!! Oh well, the kids are having a ball!!!

thanks jwanck11 and the rest of the guys! What a help, I was wondering why the stopped makeing the 21 i, maybe because the 22 i has just as good of a wake? My centurion i sold is almost the same boat as the 21 i, so could use a little change from the norm, What a nice guy offer a pull if I'm around! I live in Arizona so far away, Thanks though! I have had 2 centurions and now I think its time for tige

The Z1 took the place of the 21i.

Unfortunatly there is very little demand for DD, so thats why the 21i is gone and its only a matter of time before the 22 and possible even the 20 will be no more.
