Will a 21zx fit under an 8' garage door if I remove the board racks?

The Specs sheet says tower folded down height with board racks is 8' 9". If I removed the board racks will that get me the extra 9" I need? Thank you in advance!

We have a 2020 23ZX. Our 15 Z3 fit through our 8ft door. The 23ZX is 2" taller then the 21ZX on a trailer on 15" wheels. We had to expand the opening to 9ft so we could get the boat in.
Attached is a picture of our boat in the garage. You will see that the racks are maybe a few inches higher then the Bimini and bottom of tower.

I had 95 1/2" of clearance at the garage door valance, boat cleared by 3/4" with board racks removed and tires aired down to 25psi. So to answer your question, yes it fits...situation dependent. An 8' garage door could actually be substantially less than 96" depending on brick/siding etc.

If I had to bring it in and out multiple times a year I would be parking it elsewhere, that I can say for a fact.
