Wow, thanks for all the friendly wishes!
Wife and I made a 3.5 day weekend out it, with an overnighter to the mtns. Dinner Friday, I cooked us some grilled lobster tail, scallops and shrimp. Yellow rice with seasoned black beans on top, salad, and cheese cake for dessert
Sat dinner was cooked by my son and his fiancé. Steak, mashed taters and salad.
Yester lunch was a picnic at the base of a waterfall that was a short hike from the parking area, as well as a dozen or so other small cascades along the forestry road to the trail head. Dinner was a cozy romantic take-out in the hotel
Headed home late morning.
