MarinePower Belts Loose

Any others have problems with their alternator belts. The inner belt is loose but the outer one is tight. These are new belts and same manufacture.

Are the pulleys aligned?

i believe they are but will need to verify

I noticed this on my MP 340 also. One of the belts was slightly looser then the other one. It didnt seem to affect the function - no slippage that I could see. I chalked it up to manufacturing variance.

You used to be able to buy a matched set of belts for applications similar to this. I would imagine you still could.
