    ZX1 fault code

A fault code came up 94, lower psi than expected. Anybody know what that is

I had the same thing last year. Kept throwing 94 as a code, and it would put me into limp mode. Fuel pressure wasn’t where it was supposed to be. My dealer couldn’t figure out the root issue. My guess was the fuel pump, which Indmar wouldn’t authorize them to change out, since it was only like 1-2psi low, but they put some kind of override switch on it, so it wouldn’t put me into limp mode. I have no idea if I have the proper fuel pressure, at this point.

Fuel pressure is supposed to be 58psi +/-5psi. So pressure below 53psi of X amount of time will throw the code. Sometimes its the fuel pump but more often its the regulator, but you can't hardly get just the regulator these days.

Sucks your dealer couldn't figure it out Zack. Wondering if they have the FP test port tool(wasnt a factory Schrader valve until the water sep filter assembly was added

I’m not sure what they can and can’t figure out, at this point, because they constant try to feed me bs, so I’ll go away. They said they did the filter and regulator, the first time I took it in. Not sure if they replaced it, or rebuilt it maybe? They thought it was the regulator, the first time I took it in, but it happened the next time I was on the water again. I think I was running at 51psi. Their thinking was it wasn’t causing it to lean out, so it wasn’t hurting anything to run at 51psi, apparently Indmar agreed with them, at least that’s what they told me. I was going to change the pumps out, I believe you told me there are 2, I can’t remember for sure, but it ran fine all summer, this year.

Its one complete in tank assembly with 2 pumps built into it. Theres also the FP sensor up by the filter. Wondering if thats the issue. Have to I stall the test tool to verify, and they likely need to test it with a load on it(water/lake test). FP testing on the trailer with no load on engine often leads to inaccurate results/data.

I know they never lake tested, it, they may have with a fake-a-lake. I’m having a different shop do my winterization, I’ll see if they can test the pressure, and where it is. As usual, thanks for dropping that knowledge brotha!!
