I purchased my 2018 RZX2 last summer (pre-owned) from a large Mastercraft dealer in Lake of the Ozarks. I was unaware until recently that it was my responsibility to have both the Tige and Indmar warranties transferred (because the selling dealership is not a dealer for these brands). I was not informed of this by the dealership at the time of the sale and only recently found out after a year of owning the boat.
Perhaps it is common knowledge that it is the buyer’s responsibility to transfer the warranties. I had no idea.
So now I am in a bit of a bind for two reasons:
1. Indmar apparently requires the warranty to be transferred within 10 days of sale.
2. My nearest Tige dealer in PA has been unable to get Tige to return any of their calls/emails to find out how to go about transferring the warranty.
Needles to say I’m a bit frustrated over this.
