    2021 ATX 22 Limited surf-able Goofy Side

Continuing my ATX saga: The 2021 22 ft ATX is supposed to be designed after the 22 foot RZX
Tried the following in different combinations and could not get any length to the goofy surf side to make it even reasonable to surf:

    - initially all sacs filled full
    - off filled non surf side
    - added another sac surf side back locker (additional 2-300 pounds)
    - added 300 pound sac to walkway
    - Taps 2 and 3 through all setting
    - Speed 10.5 to 11.8
    - driver and 2 other crew members about 170 each moving bow and surf side combinations

There was times I would get some height but just could not get any length
Regular side was a reasonable wave stock.
I have some dry weight bags coming before trying again.
I am looking to put at least 200 pounds under bow sacs and some surf side for goofy wave.
I will also use an inclinometer on phone to see exact tilt and pitch of boat.

Looking for any suggestions or directions.

When I placed it in demo mode and went through the levels for surf tab positions, I noted the surf tab for goofy side had almost a 5 degree less deployment compared to the regular. Can this be significant or is it within specs?

I have communicated all this with my dealer and the fact that I have had a surf boat for a month and have not been able to surf behind it yet!!!
I was told that "they are talking with Tige about the details and will get back to me ASAP".
Still waiting, very expensive floating transport!

The two surf tabs should be deploying to the same amount. Can you tell if the actuator is deploying all the way or if it’s not going all the way down. Could be mounted wrong or actuator gone bad.

I will post pictures in the morning. They both are moving. At the least deployment they differ by only about 2 degrees but when each are at their "full" deployment the difference becomes almost 5 degrees. One of the actuators were replaced secondary to a bad one from the factory when we bought it a month ago. It was taken off another boat that the dealer had at the time. I do not know which one it was. I will look at the actuator to see if it appears fully deployed as well in the morning.

Pry a dumb question... are they deploying under power? Have you reached under and felt them while it’s in the water?

Sometimes if there are issues they aren’t strong enough to push against the pressure of the water when the boat is moving.

Change the prop. I just had the same issue on a 23zx that is a customers boat and the stock prop wouldn’t allow the goofy wave to shape up . We put a more aggressive one on and solved the issue .

Will look into a new prop, stock one is 16.5x16.5 1.25”. Any recommendations on an improved prop?

Added video of cycling of tabs.

not sure why it is upside down. The Actuators offer Gen 1 and Gen 2, it is set to Gen1.

IF it is the prop, wouldn’t have been nice for 100k+ boat to have a prop that would give a wave I could surf???

Addressing the strength of deployment: I least it was able to cycle through with me providing any resistance I could to movement. Not quite what the boat would fill on the water, but all I could do today.
