Rzx2 driveshaft damage

We have seen 8-10. Its a vendor issue. Is your Rzx2 an 18?

I mean maybe a bad batch, but mine’s a 2017......takes this long to fail?

That is how it sometimes would work on the G23. It could happen in the first 40 hours, or after 400 hours, or anywhere in between.

Motor is the raptor 400.

Just bad luck on the shaft. Likely some small inclusion in the metal or a weak spot in the heat treatment.
Just the right conditions to cause a little extra force at just the right time.
Pulling a tube my guess is it cavitated a bit on a hard turn and the shock of the prop grabbing water again snapped it off, (or started the crack) but it could be any combination of factors.
