I changed to a 1617 on my 05 22v and love it in comparison to the stock prop. Check out the chart on WaveMaker.com but should be the same for an 04. Mike's liquid audio may chime in with some great advice and help in getting you a great prop for your use.
Do you need to cover big water at a decent clip to get where you want to go?

Hi Mike, its a V-drive and the lake is in Wisconsin. I have (2) 750 sacs in back locker and just have people sit in the bow. Have no idea on current prop, think its the original. I do not need to cover any water and in fact the only time i go faster than surfing speed is just to run the engine a bit before going back to the shore station.
Yes, im aware that a 22V is a v-drive. Is the v-drive blue or black in color. Tige used both during that time frame. Black is a 1:1 and blue is a 1.46:1 gear ratio. This GREATLY impacts the proper prop decision.
If you can find out, please post what the current prop is. This help gauge the upgrade of a new prop.
