Adding a Smart Wheel

I did a search but didn't come up with anything definitive. I am also getting conflicting information from the local dealers.

1. Is the smart wheel PnP in a 2017 RZX3 (tige clear)? seems like it is
2. What is the installation procedure, can it be done one your own or does it require a dealer firmware update etc?
3. What is the cost? Parts and Install? I have seen anything from 700 to 1400 for just the wheel?

Kind of PNP. Tige/Justin has all the info available to do it. In this market I'd say it depends on your dealer or if you are doing it DIY.

Rzxs get the 10" black label standard so it is able to be upfitted. Cost comes down to parts availability and markup chosen by whoever you acquire it from. A real issue with covid as the wheels come from Isotta which is an Italian comapny that is supplying Tige and was supplying Malibu(not sure if they are using the same these days). Either way....all brands are making sure they can build new rather than support the aftermarket. Not trying to be a Debby downer....just preparing you for the worst.

If you arent able to source a kit from a local Tige dealer I might be able to help you but can't promise anything these days

I got the smart wheel hub from a member. I bought the steering wheel direct from isotta. I’d try to see if they will sell you both. They were easy to deal with.
