That’s a bummer. I was hoping to have mine done before summer but it doesn’t sound like that will happen. What brand are you going to next?

In Tige defense, all manufactures take a long time to get upholstery, usually a couple months. I'm guessing COVID pushed that back even further. Glad they were able to warranty it for you and hoping you're all good to go by summer.

Lets delete this. Magic eraser is no good.

Why? It is just like sandpaper.

It's a great way to make shiny gel look like a matte finish too

You have started the vinyl on a pathway to destruction, so good thing that new skins are coming. If you were using the Magic Eraser before this happened, then that is probably what caused it. The magic eraser is basically a fine grit sandpaper, although it doesn't feel like it. It removes the superficial layer of protection from the vinyl.

In addition, the soap in a magic eraser may be a mild degreaser, like dish soap is. This dries the vinyl out.

I tried it on a small area to see if it would help. I did not scrub the entire interior down with a magic eraser. I can guarantee the magic eraser was not what ruined my interior.
