    Interior fading

I have a 2018 RZX with 250 hrs and the interior seem to be fading quickly. The tan areas that are exposed to sun have changed color dramatically. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m in AZ so the sun is brutal but friends boats that are much older don’t seem to have faded nearly this much. I store the boat in indoor storage when not on the water.

That really is some impressive fading (more than just fading - actually looks like a totally different color). I also have a 2018 RZX, but mine is blue and gray where yours is tan. I have not really noticed any fading. But I’m in PA not AZ so I’m sure that makes a difference.

Dude, so the only time it’s in the sun is when your on the water? It’s indoors the rest of the time?

      Warranty. All day long.

And to hedge myself a little. What do you clean it with?

Wow that's nuts! Warranty all day, but hope they changed the supplier or something

Is the tan a cool touch Vinyl?

Yes indoor storage when we are not using it. I have only used 303, boat juice interior, and boat bling interior. Photos have been submitted to Tige we’ll see what they say. I’m hoping it was a bad batch of vinyl and this is not a normal thing for Tige.

That’s crazy! My buddies centurion with brown seats has faded a bit after being in the Sun for 3 years 12 months a years. But not drastically like that, mostly just the back engine part.

Just found out that Tige is sending out all new interior skins for my boat. They said this is a first for them seeing this type of fading. Good to see that they stand behind their product and fix it when something goes bad.

Have you used a Magic Eraser to clean it with? I thought 303 would prevent that for sure!
                          Be excellent to one another.

good luck I have been waiting since June 2020 for new skins for my boat, 2015 Z3 stitching gave out and I was told by Tige they would cover it. Im now giving up so I can have my interior repaired before selling my boat. 3rd Tige I have owned since 2004 and 3rd Tige that has had seat stitching rip out. Time to try a different builder

I have tried everything including magic eraser and nothing help. I thought the 303 would prevent this also. I guess it was just a bad batch of vinyl.
