You could always pull the subfloor bag and visually inspect all the seems and fittings...and fill it on land with a water hose. Will need to cap the drain. You can buy the caps and unions at wakemakers.com for $6-8 each....

Yes, may have to do that. When I checked for leaks the other day, it was after it was already wet under the subfloor ballast and in the bilge area. That’s what made it difficult to find where the water was coming from. When I have time, I’m going to fill the ballast again making sure that everything is dry first. This should make it easier to locate the source. Also, I didn’t check the lines connected to the Tsunami intake pumps in the center of the boat. So I need to look there as well. Although it’s always tough to see anything through that little circular port in the floor.

Does anyone know how to remove the entire main floor panel on an RZX2 (the one you walk on in the middle of the boat, above the transmission/V-drive)? In the past, I’ve removed the two screws at the front of the panel. There are no screws at the back of the panel near the engine compartment. But when I try to lift the floor up it still seems to be attached in the middle somewhere (cannot find any other screws to remove).

        Found the leak!!!

Only problem is I don’t know how to fix it.

It’s the rear most connection to the subfloor bag (I think it’s the drain pump).

The bag has separated from the fitting. Not sure if the whole bag needs to be replaced or if this can be repaired???

Permanent fix, new sac and then make sure the hose routing, length or fitting direction is not the root cause.

The way that hose is routed to the bag seems like a poor design. Looks like the bag, when full, was putting a lot of pressure on that connection and eventually the seam let go.

I noticed around mid summer the left rear ballast was taking longer to fill than the right. I guess this is when the seam started separating from the fitting.

Any advice for removing the hoses from the fittings? I loosened the clamp, but it won’t budge.

Thats been my experience. Sac ports rarely fail out of the blue. Its usually due to the hose pulling or pushing on it. Sometimes you need to shorten or lengthen the hose, change its overall approach or go from a straight to a 90 or from a 90 to a straight fitting.

Thanks chpthrl. I think the hose needs to be shortened an inch or two.

And disregard my question above about removing the hose. It screws off. I didn’t have to remove the actually rubber hose.

Do you know if there’s an adhesive I could use to close that hole at least to get me through the rest of our short summer? Super glue???

The fitting is originally put in with welding type process, so glues or adhesives are tough to make work in this scenario. If you can get the area super clean, some heavy duty glue may work short term.

Okay. Maybe I’ll try some gorilla glue as a temporary fix. If it doesn’t work it’s not a big deal. But I’ll definitely contact Tige to see if the bag can be replaced under warranty.

I had the same issue and sealed it this time last year using super glue. My fix has held up ever since. My issue was 100% a fitting angle issue. My separation was less than yours, but clean it good like mike said. My first application was from the outside, let it sit for a day. Then second and third application was from the inside through another port. Good luck, but definitely get another bag ordered as from best I can tell, it’s very unusual to be able to seal this kind of leak. I think mine was still glued good enough that allowed me to get lucky.

Check all of your other fittings to see if they need mods too
