What is this ballast hose for?

It’s connected to the front end of the subfloor bag, but is capped off in the rear locker.

Looks like its for the plug-n-play supplemental ballast sacs.

I already have plug n play sacs. They’re fed by another hose. Perhaps it’s just another way to fill a different type of bag???

I see the sac, but I have no way of know if its the Tige sac or aftermarket. The first couple years Tige offered PnP plumbing, they did not offer a sac, just the plumbing. So all PnP sacs were aftermarket.

Its hard to tell and would need to do some digging but if its in the bottom of the bag its probably meant to be a subfloor vent line that overflows to the PNP.

My rear locker bags have three hoses connected to them. One enters the rear of the bag and is connected to the Tsunami pump in the stern of the boat. Another enters the front of the bag (not sure where it comes from) and the third is the drain hose. Then there’s the mystery hose - one end connected to the front end of the subfloor ballast, the other end capped-off.

My guess is that is a fill hose. The fill pump y’s into two, one going into the sub floor and the other going into the pnp.

Or it is the hose connecting the sub floor to the pnp but normally that’s on the bottom.

Should be the fill hose. Does your plug and play bag have four fittings?
                Oh Yeah!

My custom PnP sacs make use of 4 hoses.

                    Has 3 fittings (Fat Sac).

So maybe that extra hose is an additional fill hose for bags with four fittings?

Our bags have 4 ports - 1 top fill, 1 vent, 1 bottom drain and 1 bottom fill (that is marked drain) that comes from the top of the subfloor.

Hmmm. I assumed my rear bags were a factory installed option (bought my boat used last summer - one year old), but maybe the previous owner added them.

Its not an extra hose. Sounds like the sacs are mis-designed or off the shelf ballast sacs, not PnP sacs for a Tige.

You must be right. I had no idea.

Anybody know what the proper rear PNP bags are for a 2018 RZX2? Anyone use the CustomFIT bags from Wakemakers?

I contacted the original owner of the boat. He said the bags were stock from Tige. Seems odd to me.
