    Squealing belt on startup

    2019 R23 Raptor400.

Normally only does it after kids have been in/out of water, but it is getting a little worse. I assume water is dripping on belt. Should I tighten the tensioner? If so, what’s the best way to get to it?

Anyone do mods to keep water from dripping into belt?

Is it a v or serp belt?

Pretty sure it’s a serpentine. I’ll look at it this weekend

If its a self tensioner, could be getting week or just an aging belt has stretched. If its an adjustable tensional, may tighten it as well as clean the belt grooves. Sometimes bits of old belt material gather in the grooves, making it squeal.
