That is the same people that installed my alarm in my boat.

They are a very good installation shop for boat stereo's and cars.

I think its so cool. I might tone it down a little, but it really is pretty cool.

Boat alarm? Like a car alarm for you boat?

Yes but have the ability to turn of proximity sensors and then there are "door" alarms on the various areas and hatches.

Wow, thats pretty trick. So when do you typically use that? Is it for storage or for at the lake as well? Does it not drain your batteries? Does is also have a remote like on regular car alarms?

          So many questions im sorry.

              1) When camping and the boat is on the water, we usually aren't near our boat so the hatch sensors gets turned on while the proximity sensors are off (for obvious reasons).
              2) When the boat is pulled out of the water and on dry land, the proxity sensor ans hatch sensors are turned on.
              3) However, when the boat is parked at home, only the hatch sensors are active.

Having equipment in the boat at times and being at campsites that there are questions about what people are doing and wanting to sleep at night, the alarm was put in.
